Questions

How often should I have a facial?

Many clients come every four to six weeks, which lines up roughly with the skin's natural renewal cycle. Your therapist will suggest what suits your skin, your goals and your budget.

Help Me Hydrate or microdermabrasion?

Help Me Hydrate is for skin that feels dry, tight or dehydrated and focuses on putting moisture back. Microdermabrasion is an exfoliating treatment for dull skin and rough texture. If you are not sure, book a free skin diagnosis and your therapist will recommend one.

Which facial should I book first?

The Regeneration Facial is designed as an introduction for new clients, and Our Signature Experience is tailored to your skin on the day. Either is a good first choice, or start with a free skin diagnosis.

How should I care for my skin as the seasons change?

Hobart winters can leave skin dry and tight, while summer brings more sun and oil. Find My Balance and Help Me Hydrate suit seasonal changes, and your therapist can adjust your home routine. Wear sunscreen every day, all year round.

Can I have a facial if I am pregnant or take medication?

Please tell us when you book. Some ingredients and treatments are not suitable during pregnancy or with certain medications, including prescription acne and retinoid treatments. Your therapist will choose a suitable option.

Do you have facials for acne-prone skin?

Yes. Sort My Skin, Clear My Complexion and Young Skin Essentials are popular choices. See acne care for our approach.
